That is most interesting, i believe the ancient egyptians, along with other ancient civilizations, used a base 12 number system.

I suppose the first part of the word octave (oct from 'octo' meaning 8) is why I chose the eight note variation. Other scales may have a different number of notes covering the range of an octave, such as the Arabic classical scale with 17, 19, or even 24 notes (semitones), but the word "octave" is still used.I would've been more accurate saying "when the 8th note of a P8 (perfect 8 interval octave) is reached, a new scale begins, at double (or half) the frequency of the root note, repeatedly.

There are actually 12 notes to an octave & there are also 5 note scales as well, the 12 note chromatic scale is the true scale all others are nothing but variations.

Dannysaysmoo needs to do a LOT of research not just some...He is completely clueless to the fact that the entire universe is built on this geometry!

when the 8th point intersects, nature's first sacred pattern occurswhen the 8th note of a musical scale is reached, a new octave and musical scale begin (at double the pitch)these 2 phenomenon seem to coincide this idea mirrors much of the content in the dude's post of William Henry interviewing Michael Hayes on Dreamland |
