I also love how she changes directions to keep the scatting, opera, and her "self" all seperate! Her gestures and facial expressions are superb! She's great at being big without being cheesy. Love her. This song also shows that she's not only able to sing musical theater stuff- a versatile and all-around fabulous performer!

"...crochet until she's 'finis.' "She laughs because she rhymes 'finis,'- the latin word for 'finished' or 'the end'- with "cup o' tea." It's clever that she used the latin 'finis' because she was just singing about opera, and the word is often found in music. also, many operas were written in latin or latin-based languages.
