Dear Lastdamage , it is Plu ( pronouncing ploo) - shen -( as this , "shen" , just as saying Shell , but shen! ) - ko ( as "co" from coca cola). So , Plushenko. The stress is on the first syllable - "Plu" . Perhaps , the Russians pronounce his name differently. But , this is how we perceive his name as hearing it in competitions. Hope I have been explicit .
