People like Chick Corea don't play music to attract a 'certain' class in society. Ask Robert Johnson if he played because he wanted to attract the white folk. No, for these types of musicians; (Jelly Roll Morton, Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Art Blakey, Elvin Jones, Bill Evans, Miles Davis, Chick Corea and many more...) music is their way of life.
