I have 3 english bulls and i know alot of people who are terrified if them just down to what they hear on the news about attacks. I think the main problem is when dogs attack alot of the time people are saying well it was a pit bull, staffie, English bull or rottie what do you expect. But it is a fact theat on a yearly basis more people are attacked by the likes of labradors than pit bulls or any other breed named above. The media just aren't intrested in the other breed attacks.

People do do that, you are allowed too keeep a pitbull ina ll states but you have too have papers on it. And have its tail cut off too show that it is not a fighting dog and never nor has been used for fighting

how about making people get licenses to own dogs. prove you are worthy, maybe even a background check! derrrr ignorance makes people think banning a breed will keep them out of the wrong hands. that will just keep them out of the right hands. its just like guns and drugs. dont be stupid

Is your friend alive? How many stitches did he/she get? Do you really believe that a pitbull could not have done more damage? I think we both know the answer to that.The problem is that the macho breeds ATTRACT the worst kind of owners. Since we cannot ban stupid people (damn!)They ban the breeds that we don't want idiots to own.Give another suggestion! Seriously! What else can be done? People's right to own a dog does NOT trump public safety.I'd love to hear a good idea about this

Certian dogs are bred for higher agression. These dogs dont hurt anyone.. and it is stupid that people think pittbulls at rotwhilers are soo dangerouse!hell, my freind got attacked by a GOLDEN retriver! wats that tell u !?!?

This angers me so much I can't even put it into words! BSL is absolutely ridiculous the only people it will control is the people that are responsible w/ their dogs to begin with! The ones that are destroying these breeds will continue to do as they please & we will suffer & the dominos will continue to fall. Next it will be your breed & then yours! There is no way I will ever let go of my Rottweilers! The dog is an example of who is holding them at the end of the leash.

Talk about discrimination - BSL IS!!! I have never heard of this and am appalled at what I just saw. The saying "Punish the Deed, Not the Breed" is so very true. We have always had Dobermans in our home (another breed with this ridiculous reputation.) Our dogs are the most loving, loyal and well-behaved dogs ever. It would be a cold day in &%$# before anyone took our dogs from us. I thought we lived in the United States of America. BSL sounds more like the brainchild of a Communist State! |
