when i was younger, i knew about stargate sg1 but i never sat down to watch it. when i turned the TV on one day it turned to this exact scene. i wasn't sure who to root for. i think i was rooting for the goa'uld until i saw the prometheus. i started watching this show ever since and it is the best show EVER!

Man, they could have just sent a squadron of F-15's with Phoenix missiles and raped those ships.That is my one gripe with Stargate. Our land and air forces would completely rape the Goa'uld in everything but space (and even that now with the Asgard beam weapons), but they never really showed that.The Jaffa would shit their pants if Abrams tanks came barreling through through the gate lol.

actually despite what it appeared in the supergate scene of the ark of truth the daedalus class' bridge is halfway down main deck of the ship just aft and on the same level as teh missle tubes.. you can see them in some shots from atlantis when they look out the front windows. also the window design is pretty distinctive and no matching windows exist on the tower thing.

I miss the Prometheus, I would like the Daedalus a lot more if her (for lack of a better term) command tower was centered, but the Prometheus was Earth first capital ship, and that counts for a lot in my book.
