Dodd's the #1 recipient of campaign contributions ($133,900) w/Obama being 3rd: $105,849), his sweetheard Countrywide Financial mortgate rate and whether they influenced ihis inattentiveness to the growing mortgage crisis. Dodd get off your Dem stump and shut up, and furthermore, you should have listed to the BUSH ADMINISTRATION and DONE YOUR JOB!!

Dodd is a joke. It is an affront to the nation that some of the people who brought on the crisis (and financially and politically benefited from the status quo) were asking the questions at the Banking Committee hearing. THEY should have been in the witness chair! Dodd SAID the crisis was "entirely foreseeable and preventable." Then why in the hell didn't he try to prevent it? He should have been answering questiosn about the PAC contributions he received from Fannie and Freddie. Contd..

Dems would love to blame the Bush Admin. for a disaster they mostly helped to creat. But, according to the White House in early 2001, the administration warned that the size of Fannie and Freddie was "a potential problem" because "financial of a large (government-sponsored enterprise) could cause strong repercussions in financial markets, affecting federally insured entities and economic activity." Contd. next post....

Dodd is full of crap. He's the CHAIRMAN of the Senate Banking Committe for God's sake, and today is blaming the Bush Admin. for this mess? He needs to get over his amnesia. People forget their history. It was pressure Clinton Admin. that forced Fannie and Freddie to grant more high-risk loans to people who otherwise would never have qualified. They mostly wanted to promote not only new home ownership numbers, but also more home ownership in the minority community. Continued next post....

These fucking Republicans Im sorry, but they played the biggest part in the reason were in this shit with all the deregulation and compensations. They just need to shut the fuck up now seriously. McCain hardly said anything in the meeting I don't think this guy even believes himself anymore.
