Pws to trivoun to piperi in Ikaria Karavostamo Greece August 2006. How do they grind the pepper - Simon says Ikarian style. Its hard to edit 30minutes into 10 - what do you leave out when its all good - i hope I've done justice to it as Im only a novice and this was my first attempt. Maybey if i have time i will re-edit it. You really had to be there to experience it. The full version is almost like watching a rehearsed theatre production but trust me it was all improvised by the youth-neolea attending this panigiri (festival party). It was about 7am, the band had started packing up after playing all night but no one wanted to leave as they didn't want it to end, everyone was having a great time. A group went and woke "Johnny" from his bed and carried him to lead the piperi and convince the band to start playing one last song....
