I saw Albert a few times live in Austin, and could not match what he was doing on the fretboard, even allowing for the capo. Later, I found out that he tuned to an open D minor or something bizarre like that. I was told partly he did that to keep people like me from easily copying. Well, in my very humble case it worked.
