Saakashvili is a criminal. He started this war by order of G.W. Bush, which is criminal too. Saakashvili thinks that this is about his country, but this is just Bush's ambitions to Russia. U.S. and Russia will find optimal deal, but Georgia will never have any relations to Russia. That man killed his own people. He is not democratic elected president. Guys, do you really understand anything? Russian and West Media both lies in half. Of cours Russia did not start the conflict just because it's not favourably! We don't want to be in such local coflicts, provoke such aggresion and spend 10 milliards rubles to South Osetia like we'll do. Russia now is in a real position of strength. My guess is it won't stop until the Georgian President is replaced. I hope the georgian government will act responsibly and in consieration for its own people will resign as soon as possible so they can spare civilians further bloodshed.I am from the EU and am ashamed by the policy of our governments. If we respected russia more and had worked diplomatically with them to resolve this situation during the past ten years, this wouldn't be happening.
