It does not occur in Australia - it is in Antarctica. It's called "aurora australis" to do with the whole region :) I wish it occurred in Aus!

I never realized that this occured in Australia, too. It's absolutely beautiful. I wish I could go there or Alaska to view it. It's breathtaking!!! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to see it.
