Весёленькая пьеска. Представляю себе стайку птичек, стремительно летящих к солнцу.

paganviodio,I am glad we have you, a distinguished violinist, criticizing Oistrakh. You must be concertmaster of God's orchestra. Brb, checking your YouTube profile for awesome demonstration videos of your violin prowess...where are they?
happyfunnyfoo (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
lol, it's funny because most of the "intonation" issues are relative to the timpaniand most of the critics probably don't play with major orchestras, have no claim to fame, or think they're big because they are concertmaster of a no-name orchestra

The pathetic and worthless disputes in this video's comments cause me a headache and nausea.Oistrakh is one of the most distinguished violinists of the 20th century.Yes there were some notes out of tune in this performance. But if you're comparing two violinists based on a performance of a mere caprice, you must have quite poor musical judgment.

he has some pretty bad intonation problems. and the tempo... i agree everything doesn't have to be fast but, I, as the general audience, wouldn't want to listen to it for entertainment at this slow tempo.
