Wonderful interpretation. As for some who idd not like the ending - there two endings that Chopin himself wrote. Sviridov uses the one ending in minor (another ends in major). Great pianist!!!

If You mean the G flat note in the bass .the answer is : IT IS SO WRITTEN IN CHOPIN"S Manuscript IT seems a dissonant one because it is in the middle of a B major harmonies which has the G sharp & not a flat one

Someone needs to spank the piano technician who worked on this piano last! Man that thing needs voicing something awful! Poor tuning too.

Great performance!!! Nice sense of Chopin's style. I particularly liked the dynamics change in the return of a theme in the middle of a Nocturne. Thank you for posting. |
