its and individual choice if someone wants to kill someone, that does not mean its not a crime and should not be a crime. It does not follow: because its a choice it is acceptable. You are brainwashed by the terminology. If you think that it is acceptable to kill the unborn, please say so rather than pretending that the fact that it is a choice justifies what was chosen.

there is full metal jacket ammunition that does just fine. The water can be parted by the bullet just fine. The real danger is the bullet passing though air pockets and back into water, causing the bullet to deform as it strikes the face of the water.

also water cannot move out of the way quick enough for a bullet to pass through it so it crumbles it

sort of. Most pistols are theoretically capable of firing underwater because there is still sufficient force to push the slide back. There are virtually no guns that fire underwater reliably. You can try, but there are still problems. Do not ever attempt to fire a gun underwater, it is very unsafe for many reasons.

it does not. The recoil from the cartridge firing causes the slide to go backward, which actually fights the spring. Once it is all the way back and dissipates that energy the spring works to push the slide back forward, loading the next round.

Santim has it close, But the slide doesnt catch the rim of the cartidge. the bolt latches onto the rim and flips it out of the ejection port
