The thing is, the MiG is the perfect architecture for dogfights, nearly as agile as the Eurofighter. With this 3d-Vectoring it is a hard enemy in WVR-fights, but MiG has always had uöltracrapradartechnique, so I dont know if the Russians did something on this... I'ld say the Eurofighter is the best multiroleinterceptor at the time. If the EU really is going to give it 3d-Vec within Tranche 3 its going to be the super-killer, there is no way to make a plane more agile...

who ever says the Mig 29 can take on my Raptor is full of crap. though this is an awesome display from the mig, It cant touch what i've seen a raptor do. Let alone, the raptor is STEALTH!, MORE POWERFUL, VECTORED THRUST, LONGER RANGE, CAN FLY A MUCH HIGHER ALTITUDE. ITs FASTER, SLOOOOOOWERR and way more DEADLY.

ahh no sir! you have no idea what your talking about. your russian air craft are OLD US designes. we let them have have it because we new they sucked. The raptor is untouchable. It has way way WAY more power and its stealth, let alone it has vectored thrust. Right now the raptor kill ratio agaisnt russian built aircraft (from red flag) is 24 to 1. thats sad, and your going to tell people that mig 29s can out do a raptor? ohh and the german aircraft are UK and US airplanes. think before u speak.

Men, what a stupid discussion. The first flight of the 29 was in 1977. The F22 is from the 90's. That are two absolut different planes. BTW the Air Force bought in 1997 21 Migs for tests !And that OVT version is a prototype. They did this with the Su 27 years ago...

Okay smart guy...what makes the Mig29s design better? Site some statistics for me. Or when youre ready I can go ahead and tell you how the F22 outperforms the MiG29. Oh and American aircraft have dominated every airspace they have fought in since WWII my friend.

If you were to implement the F-22's electronic capabilites onto the Mig-29 the Mig would become exponentially superior to F-22, it's simply a better design. Americans should stick to engineering hot dogs, not Aircraft. At least have the sense to buy a German or Russian designer for christ sake.

Talking about design ,MIGs and SUs are far superior ;o).And when F22 stealth technology will be outclassed , we'll see how next fighters generation will be looking like

no question this is a much better looking plane than the F22, probably more manouverable as well
