I like Sheryl Crow's version the best...hahaha. Seriously, though, Breaking Benjamin's version does NIN the most justice out of all the covers, in my opinion.

Two amazing versions of the same song with very different interpretations sending out the same message. One of the few songs that I can listen to the original and the cover back to back and think they are both brilliant.

i hate it when people think this is a johnny cash song. NIN is one of my favorite bands and I used to criticize them from many of their "fans" (people who would wear NIN shirts) appearance and persona. I have always loved drugs although I realize they are a terrible yet stimulation thing, something that inspires yet diminishes the soul. How naive people are to start life. I own every album and live on Reznor. PA love!

Renzor is the most underrated songwriter/singer of his time. Having said that, Cash was a pioneer for an entire genre of music and did things that no one had ever done before. He and Renzor's personal lives are erily similar and I think that if anyone was to cover this song, Johnny Cash should be the one to do it. They both have excellent versions displaying their own style
