Lean conditions can also cause poping on decel, espec w aftermar. exh. sys. but there won't be any flames, running lean is not good. I have a Raptor 700r, single cyl. also, and when it's cold outside is used to pop a bit more than usual bc of the denser air which makes it run a little leaner that usual, but an EFI controler fixed that.

hmm my KTM Lc4 pop's like crazy on down shifts or when rolling off the thottle, but this is a single cylinder.. is this a bad thing?
