no kidding this restaurant burnt down. How unfortunate. Batards for ruining this place. Wonder if the owner did it, maybe he could have been after some insurance policy. Going to check to see if the story is true.

January 2008, The Granary is destroyed in a suspicious fire. The Independent reports "Investigators suspect arson after an earlier unsuccessful attempt to burn down the Grade II-listed restaurant was captured on CCTV a fortnight previously. The police suggested it could be the work of a Ramsay obsessive with a grudge.
