Dalida was a true gift to us all, regardless of nationality. She crossed so many bridges - she was an Italian, born in Egypt (a country she obviously loved, given this song) who lived in France, sang in more languages than most of us can wrap our minds around. She had an amazing talent and presence, but unfortunately, people of her caliber seem to often be tragic figures in their personal lives. Such a sad loss for all of us.

I feel the same im from Iraq live in the states. I miss Baghdad too and my family. I like allah yekhreb bietak ....you guys in Egypt say that a lot in your TV shows....hahahahahahaha
