basically im sorry if im wrong but isnt this Nu-metal, as nu metal is heavially distorted guitars, with not complex riff, they only make riffs which sound good and not to look good.korns best song

Well, I like Korn.But Slipknot and Atreyu are both my favorite bands. I'm a drummer, I focus on the drumming.

to me it just sounds like distortion.. can u see where im coming from.. megadeth use complex riffs and not too much distortion so you can make it outlisten to the song tornado of souls and compare it to this by koRn.. i think ull see what i mean

Well it's not just metal. It has a twist to it, that makes it sound more different. Thats as far as I can explain.

nu metal okkk.. no wonder i didnt like it..no offense or anything but can you guys tell me whats so good about nu-metal? to me the riffs seem recycled, unlike lamb of god, megadeth or metallica..again no offense just never really been a fan of this kind of music, cheers
