while it sounds like a prs it doesnt sound like a real prs which is why its not

what we meant by 'real' is that the se customs are cheaper import PRS guitars, are not made in the USA factories and are not made to the same standards as the normal PRS guiars. In that sense, they aren't real PRSs. But they are still good guitars for the price.

I love Having a low end guitar to gig with no worries. I replace the pups, fix/block the bridge (if it is not fixed already) and upgrade the pups and the sound is like something more expensive without the fear of messing up a quality guitar. Noobs should start on a cheap guitar, sloppy picking can wreak havoc on a finish.

I'm getting G.A.S. again...The different bodies, necks and woods all give a different tone. strats are usually alder bodies, Gibson usually mahogany so they are heavier and Ibanez are Bass wood which is very light and easier to scar or dent. PRS quit making lefties and now a guitar I could get used for 1G will run 2G'S IMO having 2 or 3 guitars to gig with rules, even a cheapo with nice action and a fixed bridge or an original Floyd for alternative tunings w/o having to mess with your setup.

this is an hss strat, so no there is no question about it. the fender is better for pretty much ANY genre.

i agree, theres good reasons to play fender/gibson, like teles distortion (usually)sucks and fenders are like invincible, its rlly a matter of what sound ur trying to get. also humbuckers pwn faggot, u seem to be forgeting hendrix (sg flying v)or clapton(sg)?even tho they play strats too i mean....u cant say they didnt know what tone was without insulting ur own intelligence

Hmmm just so you know, SE's guitars are true PRS's. The SE serie is the lowest serie from PRS, so their cost is lower. I do have a PRS SE Custom and for it's price (700$) It's is a really good guitar, not as the 3000$ other PRS but yeah... Comment for the video : Hmmm the fuck? You're playing jazzy thing so it is sure the Strat would be better, but get in metal/rock riffs and the Strat will get own by the PRS.

You can't really compare Strats as Les-ies like this, 'cause it's not really fair. Sure, strats are lighter, but since they necks are thinner, unless you've got a second truss rod like SRV, you shouldn't put heavier than .11 strings on it, so you shouldn't tune real low. Gibbys can play blues, but nowhere near the ability that Strats possess. So all in all, they're different guitars, and you can't really compare the two. |
