Yeah, I experienced the same thing. But then I don't expect people serving to pretend to be my friend. I just want them to do their job with some efficiency, which is what I got there. Greece is paradise.

if you went in july or august there is nothing schocking about that, its maybe the busiest tourist place in the world at this time of the season.. Next time try some less popular island, they are just minutes away... or croatia / turkey, they're great too! But PLEASE don't mention any unfriendliness of the greeks, cause you're going the wrong way there...try some remotre greek regions and tell me again that they're unfriendly :) Happy travels!

I went to Santorini two years ago and was shocked by the poor service and the arrogance of the Greeks.I guess, I will be going to Croatia or Turkey next time around. At least the people are friendly and it is less expensive, not to speak of the wonderful landscape.
