I just looked up China Forbes and found she was the singer for "Ordinary Girl" off Clueless. Odd- I have two of Pink Martini albums and didn't know this before. Odder still, her talent shown through there, here and on the many songs (not at all like this) from Pink Martini. If you're lucky your daughters (or maybe you!) will grow up to be like China Forbes. yes she grew up privileged but hey she's made the best of it.

Love the song. Don't like the overpowering backup singer voice at the end of the song. The backup singer is great but just not right here. Let China be China. Also, Letterman is such a dork. Any new albums coming??????

China Forbes and Pink Martini puts the correct accent on the pronounciation of Eugene. Very, Very nice song says David Letterman. My wife and children agree.
