Original title of this song is "Time" and its's been written by Polish klezmer group KROKE. You can hear it on their album "Sounds of the vanishing world". Boban's version is named "Sat", which, I believe, means "the clock" in Serbian. It's track no 3 on his album "Boban i Marko". I had the opportunity to ask Marko Markovic how they found this song. He said they didn't even know KROKE, his father just heard it somewhere and decided to rearranged it for his band.

Euxaristw. I lived in Hrakleio for a couple of years and I love Cretan music, including Psarantonhs. I'll check out Mode Plagal... never heard of them. I'm sad I missed Markovic last year. Do you know if the festival is taking place this year?
