very nice for ac/dc sounds, 70ies and 80ies hardrock and for blues. with a booster in front of the amp, you really get a nice spectrum of sounds.

no, neither 6L6, nor 6550. 2 times EL34 in the poweramp.

you can get these volume box things aswell (search ebay) but they let you turn up the master on your amp but have another master volume after that.So you have pre-amp vol>amp master vol>speaker vol. So you can get a hard driven tube sound without having to make it loud. |
