European snobbery notwithstanding, you'd have to be a special kind of moron to believe that America went out of their way to make life comfortable for these people. See the way I said that? I'm a democrat, and even I loathe them.Here's a much simpler and more plausible explanation: Traveling to America from Asia is expensive. Traveling to Europe from Asia is not. Poor muslims = barbarians. Tah dah.

I'm not sure that I agree with you. In Holland , for instance they were embraced for years and years with just about every socialist program you can think of , and now , they are trying to change everything to a muslim culture, sharia, ect. They have not blended with the host culture , as the basic tenent of multiculturalism states, but simply formed enclaves of their own, rejecting state law and the local culture. No, multiculti is a lie. All cultures are NOT equal.
