Well I agree coz thats kinda what I just said about the difference between outside mallet under and outside mallet over. I guess it all comes down to what you personally define as a variation vs a significant difference. Thanks for adding the vid btw - its a great one.

burton grip IS a variation of cross grip. the original Cross grip had the outside mallet under the inside, making it feel more akward |
