i know writing systems had multiple origins, so conceivably spoken word could be similar, depends on the population distribution and at what point gruns and vocalizations had more exact meanings.

Why stop at cave paintings, anthropolists have found clay jars, spear heads, cutting tools etc dating 100,100's years old. This throws the Darvin theory out of the window and it also questions our belief of when the first civilised man really walked this earth. My hunch is language is far older than mentioned in the video.
