The best fragment of this work is gregorian Dies Irae so it isn't composer's contribution. Instrumentation is ok that's all.

uuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaauuuugenial, fantà stic, increible, sublim, m'encata!A més, l'ambientació està molt d'acord amb la temà tica del poema simbfònic. Berlioz és el rei! Grà cies per penjar el video.

bernardgui (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
actually it is the gregorian melody of the "dies irae" ;)
InfernalPurge (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
That's the Dies Irae theme. It's a very old Gregorian melody of a text that matches this scene being the funeral of the story. Its text and music are still being used in other musical works, such as Shostakovic's 14th Symphony and Mozart's Requiem mass. You can check out the Gregorian chant somewhere around.
