Arcade Fire is more LIKE other bands than they are DIFFERENT. The lyrics are high school poetry: "We're a million little gods turning everything to rust." What a self-love/self-pity anthem. As for snowflakes: do you really have the time to worship them all? AC Fans: WAKE UP!!!!

No band is the same. It's like snowflakes. Arcade Fire is amazingly unique. Not just with their instruments, but with their lyrics as well. You can't base a band on what kind of music they perform.

i love how the audience begins to stand up a little at a time (started by HEATHER GRAHAM) and by the end of the song they get a standing ovation. amazing performance!

Excuse the pun, but the sound and vision are all out of sync on the first 2 minutes of this vid. Anyway, looking forward to the Eden Project gig in August. That's in England by the way...
