mightyblack1 refers to Brandon T. Jackson as "the young black guy from the movie." And then speaks about how Brandon was giving credit to his fellow actors and that made him a "Tom." If those actors were black I'm assuming he would not have made those comments. Now that seems to me as an extreme prejudice. Not every black man is an egotistical arrogant self centered wanna be player fool. It only seems that way because the media just loves to shove that stereotype in our face.

ANYBODY who has a problem with RDjr playing a black guy in this movie needs to be reminded of the Wayan's Brothers movie called "White Chicks". Mother fucking hypocritical RACISTS.

I agree AraBlak. I love it when non white people say it is offensive to blacks. I think, well did you actually ask them if they find it offensive. They were paying out a character who throws himself into a role far too much.Besides arnt we becoming a bit to sensitive, Im Australian and I dont fly off the handle because he is Australian.I have to disagree on one thing, the best part was when he says "what do you mean you people"?

Seriously... I'm black and I thoroughly enjoyed his character... He pulled it off so well... Plus, that was in part the reason for his character... He was playing a guy, playing a black guy... GENIUS.When he snatched the map from Ben Stiller was my favorite part of the movie. His eye contact and demeanor was classic.Anyone taking this too serious is trippin for nothing...

they give out oscars for the wrong kind of roles, Downey jr was hilarious and amazing. funniest thing I have seen in along time, put the race card away, I have seen more than one black comedia bagging on white people in the movies or in their stand up. its comedy people..

this movie was off the chain and i loved robert downing jr character he really does luk good even as a 'black' guy lol and he pulls it off playing that character......and to does ppl taking offence of his character they need to take a chill pill cos it was nothing racial and its just a comedy, ppl need to lighten up and yes am black and i loved it....BIG UP to robert he was awesome in the movie he had me in stitches thru out the movie
