To add to what you said; The guitar sable is plugged into the talk box on the floor. In that box is a SMALL SPEAKER. The sound from that speaker is directed into the hose that is put into the guitarists mouth. The deeper into the mouth the hose id the more versatile you can be with sounds as the inside of the mouth acts as a resonating chamber. Frampton was and IS THE MASTER of the talk box.
