I got it !I've just taken "Having a night off" as "Not amusing people in that concert"So if you meant that having a night off is being tired ,ok , I agree perfectly with you

(end of my response) Someone was actually saying Shirley usually sounds perfect but sometimes does have her nights off, then some jerk replied that if the first guy thought what he thought, it was because he didnt love garbage enough; so I came in and said that thinking what guy#1 thinks doesnt show a lack of garbage love, but just enough distance and artistic critic which enables one to recognize when the band has a night off. Get it?

ok once more I seem to be misunderstood by you here lol. I do know the difference: sounding perfect is more related to the technical part of the performance, singing perfectly well it's clear, the singer is always in the key blabalabl and having a night off is when out of tiredness, repeted shows etc your voice is a little weak and you cant give it all that very night. I think everybody will agree on that. What I was saing was, again, in response to an older comment.

where do u take that deformed lyrics ??I know what's food for you....I know you're starving too.... :D

Do u know the difference between sounding perfect, singing perfectly and have an off night?
KalikaInLeather (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
That's stupid? First, you cant utter a rule about artistic preferences, why should someone have to do, like sth better etc?? and then yeah, most of the time lives are better and bmore loved than the recorded versions, but just because it's garbage, shirley one doesnt have to find that's always perfect. Try to think by yourself for once, you know, to have some artistic and criticl sense, taste and consciousness. Even if, and I'm sure kevpark will agree with me on that, here shirley sounds great

Shirley kinda sounds breathless a lot when they perform Why Do You Love Me, but given the vocals it requires it's amazing she doesn't lip it.

Actually, the song is not about being "Queer", but rather Shirley singing from the point of view of a prostitute hired by a father to make her son a "man". I suppose the father thinks his son might be queer, because he is a virgin....... |
