It's just a standard NP-60 camcorder battery... so it SHOULD just work.You DO know you have to flip the screen open for the camera to work... right?If you are having problems, and you have followed all instructions that came with the camera, take it back to the shop / store you bought it from and ask for a replacement.

i have a question for this aiptek a hd whene my camera the one you just reviewed whene i put on the charger it works and whene i displuge it it doasnt work and whene i first charged it was on green and it still doasnt work when i dissplug it HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have edited several videos taken with this camcorder in Cyberlink Powerdirector. It's easy to download off of torrent and install a full version of. In MOV format without converting.

I hooked it up to my DVR it shows on the screen on the camera for a second or two and then turns to black. Or it plays audio with a black screen. I wish you could come over and teach me lol! I also hooked it up to the tv (I have an HDTV and I used the correct cord) and I can look at the menu and the live feed but the colors are a bluish color and not crystal clear. That is the one thing I haven't got to work yet. If you have a decent video editing software you can smooth the audio a bit.

no - windows movie maker dosn't support MOV files , and that is the video format that this camera uses . However - there are lots of other great video editing software that you can use which will support MOV files used by this camera.

just got one of these - for the money , i think there gr8 ! i am happy with mine.
