Kirsten Heiberg - Komm, Zauber der Nacht

The beautiful Norwegian actress/singer Kirsten Heiberg sings one of her most beautiful songs, "Komm, Zauber der Nacht" (Come to me, magic of the night). It's from the 1943 musical Liebespremiere. She never made a commercial recording of the song, this is the movie soundtrack as it was released many years ago...She was one of the most interesting and talented stars of German cinema. Unfortunately she stood somewhat in the shade of Zarah Leander. In 1940 her career was halted when she refused to perform in her native Norway during the German occupation. She returned in front of the cameras in 1942.
