In order to avoid being hung drawn and quartered by the Scots and the Welsh for leaving them out of the above post, I include them here. My aim was to illustrate that there is a direct link in some English to celtic ancestry, but they do not describe themselves as Celts nor Celtic.

Chloe does a fine rendition of this song. I think her voice sounds deliberately choirboyish.The supression of vibrato is reminiscent of Sarah Brightman's similar absence of vibrato in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Pie Jesu in which she duets with a choirboy. This song has to have a childlike voice to succeed. My own personal favourite out of the many fine performances, is Declan Galbraith. If you don't cry when he sings it, then you're not human. But Chloe's version is beautiful. And so is she.

This not a "Celtic" song. It is modern and it is English. The word "celtic" is a much misused word meaning, apertaining to Celts,a race or tribe which no longer exists any more than the Angles and Saxons do. Celtic DNA is found in all Ireland and in the UK, especially Devon and Cornwall. But these people are not Celts. The only truly Celtic music is that which was passed down through the generations father and mother teaching son and daughter. Does such music exist? I'd love it to.

Sorry but being of Irish descent doesn't make you instantly Celtic. Being Celtic is much more than having the DNA from your ancestors. It's a culture, a way of life...

Bravo....you got that right...Chloe is proof positive that a woman doesn't need to be a size 2 to be talented, beautiful and desirable. Chloe is a real postibe role model to young women today. She also models when she has time away from her work with Celtic Woman...

Yes you can. In the film it was an English boy named Peter Auty who sang it. Aled Jones made the first recording of it.

I never said i was a celt,i said i was celtic celtic means you are irish. Celtic and The celts are two different things. Not that I wouldn't mind reviving the celts by calling the new generation the "New Celts"

I'm sorry for your loss, He is in a better place, another dimension that is amazing...He was way too young, i HATE war....Why? Why can't we stop fighting over religion, oil, and bullshit? Maybe if everyone listened to great music like this all the time, there would be more peace in the world...
