haha surely you must be joking. The Beatles have sold 102 million in the US only vs. AC/DC's 200 million worldwide. Estimates for the Beatles are above 500 million. Not to mention the number of singles they had that went #1 virtually everywhere. And the Beatles had an obnoxious amount of competition in the 60's, between the Stones, the Who, Hendrix, the Beach Boys, Elvis, Sinatra, Cream, The Doors, Pink Floyd, etc.

.... wtf are you talking about ac/dc and the beatles for??? these guys have absolutly nothing to do with either. and for the idiot thats comparing them to ac/dc, thats like comparing sandwhiches and hackysacks... two completly different genres and styles. and the only reason ac/dc has sold more albums is theyve been around for longer. theyre a bunch of old farts now... they werent that good then and they arent that good now. anyway I LOVE THESE GUYS!!!

oh! and I almost forgot, Back In Black is the biggest album sold by any band in history!...so whats that tell yah??...oh I know?! more people like AC/DC??...HUH? you my friend are going by what the comercial world sate about the beatles. AC/DC are always gona be a bigger rock band, more well known songs and riffs! and they actually still give something to their fans! not sit in mansions and use money! thats not rock stars!...the beatles got shit loads of money cos they had no competiton and then when the world began to get better acts they retired so know one would realise they werent as good as everyone believed! AC/DC took the tough road to rock n won!

do you wanna know why Beatles were succesful??...they came at a time in which rock band and stardom on that scale was new and they had no competition at all! they didnt sell many albums! they only sold singles, a much easier and more comercial way of becoming a success! they were crap live! sure they have classics! but they're not rock! AC/DC are gaining on the beatles!...big time! and the only reason beatles are consider bigger is cos of their impact they had on the generations of the 60's
