People are posting 'kudos to Patsy as a Country singer'...okay, okay...that was her chosen genre and where she started. This woman would have taken it across the spectrum of makin' noise...she would have done it all...blues/jazz/pop/concert performance. She nearly got there, in a very, very short period of time...Carnegie Hall is not for the squeamish or the limited. RIP 4ever..youtube exists to give the Patsy Clines or Karen Carpenters their due and I am grateful

Absolutely right. Ive had lessons at my music college but also been listening to Patsy since a kid. So called singers these days cant hold a candle to her. She made most of her tracks with one take. Ha beat that Madonna.

are you high? patsy is pretty much the most technically sound country vocalist who has ever lived!!! take some vocal lessons and learn what it is to truly sing and tell me she doesnt have an astounding voice. I'd love to see these newer artists hold the notes she did or transition the way she did. Id love to see it...but it wont happen

crack didn't exist back then....you could free base coke, but hardly anybody at that time had coke then.....and buy crack with a credit card??? WHERE? at the crack store???
