Actually, statistics show that abortion rates decline when Democrats are in the White House and go up during Republican administrations! This is thought to be a result of women's fears they won't have insurance/medical care for herself and her baby, and fears of unemployment for herself and the father, raising housing and heating costs etc--the economy. Every Republican presidency comes with recessions, "economic downturns"...despite the flack attacking Dems! Dems create jobs, reduce abortions.

Now sorry but in his 1st 6 years of his presidency Bush vetoed once (stem cell research, having MS I believe he's wrong but I'm also Catholic and can appreicate his stance), in the past 2 years he vetoed 12 times. He had 6 years to sort out F/F but he didn't, nobodys had that kind of rule since Eisenhower. As for F/F being socialist, what about the police or public education are they socialist? I know there are at least two points to this arguement, but to partisanly blame dems and reps is wrong

Now these failure don't happen overnight (I'm a politics and ecomonics graduate) they take years in building. Now the Dems have controlled the senate and congress for 2 years. Of course what you're conviently forgeting is that Bush had something for 6 years that gave him complete control the Senat, the congress and himself
