These guys also recorded as Ice, and were the backing group on Michelle's 'Magic Love' LP on West End in the late 70s. I think they just recorded this LP and Malik as the Lafayette Afro Rock Band.

I have to go digging for old vinyl. I love this! I remember when I dj'd at a local radio station. I loved digging through the vault, I'd find the weirdest most esoteric stuff and play it. The phones would ring off the hook asking for more.
