its not about Duane or his death at all he was alive for it and he didnt die at a crossroads thats a reference 2 a Robert Johnson song called crossroad blues

u were right about Ain't Wasting Time No More which is my favorite Allman Bros. song but i think Duane actually recorded melissa on the vinyl sleeve it has a star next to the ones Duane played on and Melissa was one of them. It is a classic.

That dual lead riff at about 4:40 is incredible. This is without a doubt my favorite version--I think this may be the best Greg's vocals sounded in years. |
