Sesame Street rocked my world as a little kid. I watched it everyday and never missed it. As an adult I still appreciate how much it taught me and how ahead of it's time it was for a children's show.

Damn, it's been almost 30 years for me and I forgot how much this intro resembled those dismal "Christian Childrens' Fund" ads. Jesus, was Sesame Street in some 3rd world country back in the 70's? I'm glad it moved to the hip-hop ghetto of the newer intros.

It actually aired in late 1969! |
