I enjoyed this piece because it is more soft and lyrical than the other Graham things I have seen (so far). I guess I am more of a Doris H. fan.

"no one really cares for it"?Actually, many people love Graham technique and it has been said by many professional dancers that she was the best choreographer of all time. I have studied both horton and graham and I'm not here to say that one is better than the other because they are both great techniques and are very neccesary to be a balanced modern dancer. I understand that you don't care for Graham technique but to say that no one cares for it is a bit of an exaggeration.

yeah, and now i'm gettin ready to go to the ailey school...i've decided that i'm gonna take both graham and horton based modern while i'm there, juss to make myself and well rounded modern dancer.

as a ballet dancer, in my entire career (Because many are the jobs in ballet) I never found graham technique boring or dry. It is so passionate, down to earth and melancholic...in general the opposite of ballet. All ballet companies in USA should embrace such technique since is not only be a woman but because it is soo american and most of all because it is great. And I took some months of it with the great teachers.

Serious? Then why did you, or I, or the thousands of people who watched this show even watch this vid?I'm not a dancer, but I can appreciate Graham.Still, everyone has their own opinions.
