Found the official times on those cars. Evan Smith did drive the famed 99 Z28 6M to a 12.89and then a 2001 SS 6m to a 12.96.

Just so you guys know the WS6 is quicker than a 13.4 in the quarter. Evan Smith of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords Magazine ran a 12.9 in a bone stock LS1 Camaro SS and then did it again in a stock LS1 Z28. Hell Car and Driver ran a 13.5 at 108. So in the hands of a capable driver like Evan Smith, the LS1 is a 12.9-13.2 car in stock form. Also one guy traded his 97 LT1 Trans Am for a new 98 LS1 TA and ran a 12.9 also in stock form.

now you are full of shit. a cobra with a 15lbs pulley will make over 500 hp with a stock gto you would not have a chance. unless he was not really racing you. number 2 thats great that ls2 can make 500 hp on 6psi but pump it to 20 psi with no internal work see what happens. then do it to a stock cobra long block and watch the cobra still run strong.

Thats BULLSHIT do some research, a gto with an sts turbo at 6 psi can put down 520hp with NOTHING else, I have a goat with mods and ran a cobra with a 15lbs pulley when i was completely stock and beat him up to 150 mph, so if i had ran 4 lbs of boost, he would have caught up to me in mexico some where

If the GTO would have less weight,,and I mean the passenger and only 2gallons of premium in the tank it sould be even,,and if you open the windows the air dym are much worse,,

but you then could only run about 8-10 psi of boost if not you'll blow that ls2. and the 4.6 is all forged internals and the block can take 1000hp without changing shit. so basically you can run more boost even if you throw a blower on the gto. cobra will just run 18-20psi.
