piontro: the aria is 'Come nembo che fugge dal vento' from 'Il Trionfo del Tempo e il Disinganno' by G.F. Haendel. Probably one of the gods that have lived in our world ;-)

you can tell if the music is baroque if it uses a lot of ornamentation. in this case you can here bartoli singing a lot of trills and running notes. there is also use of instruments like the harpsichord, which is rarely, if at all, used in classical music.

There are several. the first is Open, O Gates of Hell, by Handel I believe, the secon is Agitata Da Due Venti but Vivaldi, and the rest, I don't know.
