i wish all the people that are arguing about this version would just shut up and remember that what is seen in this video is a great musician playing a song by another great musician that's about living life in peace with everyone else at a troubling, devastating time when some of that peace was greatly needed. anyway, does anyone know if neil has recorded this song or performed it after this show?

god this is the worst cover. He isnt suitable for this type of song. he should stick to harvest moon and let people who accually sing the genre (paul) or someone not him. it was for a good cause tho.

Reply to "John Lennon wrote it and did it first". Of course John wrote and recorded this song. You must be quite young to feel you need to clarify this fact! Neil Young did this performance as a tribute to John and the wish of so very many people, all over the world, wishing for peace on earth and an end to the senseless violence we face everyday.
