In Serbian Orthodox Church exist two kinds of chants: Byzantine one (jednoglasje-hmm.. when all singers try to sing as one voice, "one-voices") and Fruskogorsko (named after Fruska Gora mountain in northern Serbia with 17 or more monasteries) which is viseglasno (multiple-voices) and that one was really under strong western influence (in 18th century when this kind of chant was recorded for a first time Fruska Gora and monasteries were in Hapburgs Empire).

In Belgrade, the capital of Serbia (south-east of Europe). This is more of a temple than a church, and it is the biggest orthodox temple in the region. |
