Holy crap man that is beyond way too many reps!!! Your max repititions should be from 12-15 reps, and you should put enough weight on so the last 2 or 3 are very difficult. Also, more weight + less reps = muscle mass, less weight + high reps = muscle tone/endurance, hope that helps a bit

yes you're wasting you're time. ideally you need the heaviest you can take and just make it to 12 curls. do up to 12 on you're heaviest, you will be ripped in 3 weeks.

What are you looking to do? Do you want to build bigger muscles or just get toned up and lose some weight? If you want to build bigger muscle you will have to cut your reps down between 8 and 10 and lift heavier weight. There are a lot of videos and books out there that will tell you about different kinds of weight training and how to achieve the goals your after.

i have two 10 lbs dumbells and i dont really wanna buy heavier onesi just started working out and do about 70 curls per set. then my biceps get tired.is my workout just a waste of time or will i see results?any feedback would be much appreciated.

I think waht he meant to say is: don't underestimate the power of quality training and diet. You can train, but if you are performing excercises incorrectly, or using improper amounts of weight, or low intensity etc, making the proper adjustments will go a long ways. If a football player plays football, but he practices improper blocking/tackling/recieving/running/throwing techniques is he gonna excel in football?

Experienced the same: Tip, go see expert trainer or just work harder and/or longer, the results come slow, the only thing thats fast is steroids and believe me that drug means bended neadles and blood all over the floor, it's disgusting.It's okay to be skinny, I'm pretty muscular not skinny but I don't judge men by their muscles, and I'm not "manlier" than skinny guys, I just wanna be active :)
