You guys should not confuse arabism with islam. What is islam? What is the spiritual aspect of islam? That to me is what people shoule emphasize more instead of the practices and praying or whatever else. Islam like any others religion is a political institution and african have been spiritual way before they came in their land. So let's not mix things together.

They aer not really convinced that in Islam, otherwise they wouldn't be oozing this type of dancing, which is quite unislamic in their repetoire. Like every society, they infuse their traditions with their religion. Otherwise, if the religion was followed solely and faithfully, you wouldn't see this nor the bethio or bine-bine that women wear when they are dancing this provacative dance.
