What keeps music alive is remembering it and playing the records/CDs. Using samples in any musical form (Rap is spoken word, not music) is a cop out and a lame idea. TALKING over a repetitive programmed beat & bass line is not music. A 3 year old could do it. As a musician myself I would *never* consider using, or rather, STEALING/COPYING, someone else's work to use in my own. It's absurd and should never have to accepted by either the public or the "music industry." |
